I truly believe that all Swiss Army Knives have soul's I have a small collection of them, and they have all seen a great deal of use. But I have not abused them.
When a SAK rides with you through so many adventures and experiences it kinda links to you, and that bond is quite strong.
Maybe in a sentimental way, maybe in a dependability and reliabilty way, or whatever, but you feel it's there, and you feel the pain when you lose/break your SAK.
These are tools with soul, and if you say the opposite it's probably because you haven't carried and trusted one of them long enough!
Don't leave home without it. I don't really associate the word "soul" with knives. I like and use them a lot, but never really considered that they have soul like an old blued steel revolver or a walnut stocked rifle that has seen a lot of use. Maybe the old traditional knives have souls? That comes pretty close to the way I feel about them.
