....I Need something with preferably 2 or more blades, definitely scissors, I would like an alox model, useful for outdoor stuff, thickest blades available on a Vic, used for hunting, edc, and just handyman kind of stuff. Maybe some screw drivers but cork is def not needed. Thanks guys!

There is no alox model on the market with scissors. I would suggest a fieldmaster as it has 2 blades, scissors, drivers, and no corkscrew as requested. Hope this helps.

I would consider pairing it up with a Vic Classic, which has small blade, scissors, file, small flathead SD, tweezers and toothpick. It complements the Alox models well.

Okay thanks! I like the farmer, pioneer, huntsman, and this one. Although na couple of those are plastic. How hard is it to mod a Vic?

I actually have a red scales version. Of the classic already. Got it from my gps over thanksgiving.

The Climber has everything you stated you want. Scissors & extra blade. I really like mine. The Farmer saw is really marginal IMO.

Good call, or Super Tinker, same thing but with a backspring mounted ph screwdriver instead of corkscrew. Although the small driver on the can opener is supposedly good for ph screw heads, it can't reach countersunk screws, so the dedicated implement is more usable.

Does it come in the alox?

There is a guy here on BF that does the alox mod. I'll check back if I find the info.

Wow...I will definitely be contacting this gentleman. That Ti model is the probably the sexiest sak i've ever seen. Thank you lobodelanoche for sharing this wonderful information!

I like that black and red one a lot!

I like the saw on the Farmer. I've used it to cut firewood, shelter poles, and PVC pipe.

The saw is the best reason to own a Farmer.

An alox model will not have everything you want.
I know these are a little more difficult to mod because of the pins.
The Celluloid handle however, hold up very well, I've never had any issues, they don't feel cheap, and there are several colors to choose from.

However, you could get a celluloid model and had G-10 scales made for it.

just the answer I was looking for!! Thankyou. I figured I could get some
G10s made up just wasn't sure how hard or expensive it would be. I got
My mom a climber ii for Christmas and it has nylon scales I believe.... Like
The celluloid ones better. But alas after buying 5knives for people I'm lacking the funds to get one for myself haha! Maybe after Christmas.

My favorite thing about SAKs (and I love SAKs) is they make a model for every body except you!

What I mean is it seems you never get what you want exactly. They really need a custom shop wing on their factory.
