The c46 is my all time favorite Spyderco. Any thoughts on maybe a sprint run of this fantastic knife?

Anyone else want a sprint run of the c46 (Lum folding tanto)? :D

You mast be kidding. With reasonable price they would be sold like hot pancakes. I need one more too.

With bacon and eggs too? I'd love the chance to own one. Does the C46 have a liner lock or framelock? Thanks bud. :D

please sal...pleaseeeeeeeeeeee. I just lost an auction on ebay for one...it was 250 bucks....I just can't afford it :(

It was a liner lock. I kind of prefer it like that. I love symmetry. Hehe. Always been a stickler for symmetry.

I figure they can try to one up Zero Tolerance's 0350 liner lock. That thing is a beast (the lock that is).

Can someone post a pic please?

Of note, is that Lum's tanto is the only tanto that I know of with a hamaguri (appleseed) grind at the tip. I believe samurai swords had this tip for armor piercing capability, someone correct me if I'm wrong. For a folder application, it just provides a very robust tip. All the other tanto designs are American tantos...the very triangular designed tanto blades so common today like Benchmade and Emerson.

Me too! Great looking knife! Keep it a liner lock, though.

Could it be...perhaps someone else that's just as much of a stickler for symmetry as me?

Actually, I could do with a backlock as well. I wouldn't mind that either since the symmetry would still be there. :D

PLEASE SAL!!! I LOVE THIS KNIFE!!!! hahaha Can't wait for the TI MIL either...and I should be receiving a S90V MULE tomorrow in the mail....i love spyderco!!! so much innovation and beautiful designs!! But please Sal, re-release the C46!!!

Not really a stickler, but I think they look better. I also never really liked the "action" on any frame-lock knife I've handled, they don't really "click" into place like liner locks do, and they're much harder to close. I don't use my knives particularly hard so I'm not too worried about liner locks being less-secure than frame locks.

No more interest in this? :(

EDIT: Actually, the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of a lockback c46. Blade steel could be medium grade to keep price down...but then again the s30v ZT 0350 is sorta cheap. I wouldn't mind a sprint c46 in 154cm, VG10, or maaaaybe s30v (if the pricing would be competitive).
