Sal Glesser came to me in a dream

You know you spend too much time obsessing about Spydercos and reading BF when you dream about it.

Last night Sal came to me in a dream, he was sitting across a table from me and he said something very wise. I can't for the life of me remember what it was, I just know it made a lot of sense :grumpy: Maybe he would care to repeat on the forums? :D

Now, I've never seen Sal before, but this morning I looked up a picture of him and I swear it was close to what he looked like in my dream.

There was a line-up of new Spyderco knives in the dream, one was a fixed blade dagger with a green glass-like blade and a handle made from dark metal. Very "fantasy knife" looking, nothing like anything Spyderco would ever make.

Just thought I would share a weird, knife/Spyderco related dream with y'all. I hope this doesn't mean I need a shrink :eek:

Maybe some of you can tell me what it meant? That is, if you even think dreams mean anything, other than "stop reading BF every day."

It think it means that he is going to discount the price of the new Rock Lobster down to $99 for BF members. Pretty sure thats what it means.

Hey, I read BF every day and have never had Sal visit me in a dream. He does have a way with sayings though. :)

I REALLY hope you're right about that, I was just complaining to my wife about the price on that thing. I really want one, and being a Dane (like Jens Anso) makes me want it even more.. But $330?

I saw them for around $220, as the lowest. How far under $200, and where?

Temp II is on my short list too. But again, too expensive.

It wasn't a dream, Sal was in your house! Be very afraid!

This means your not buying enough Spydies. I try to buy atleast one a month, this seems to keep the boogie man away. :D
 
You'd probably have even better dreams and be able to remember them if you sent me several spyderco's....As a sacrifice to the Spyderco Gods of course...not for my own profit....I can't make any guarantees, but I'm pretty sure it'll work.

You probably have the right sized hands for the next Spyderco model they're planning. The Spyderco R&D Grip Ninjas slip into your house undetected and, after they quietly inject you with Spyder-venom, causing Papa Spyder (Sal) to come you in a dream, they secretly make a mold of your hand. They use these molds to create the perfect grip for their knives, like that of the Manix. When you awaken, you're left with just the vague memory of Sal having visited you in a dream and having said something wise, like "All good, just different." When the model they used your hand molds for comes out, you'll be left wondering just how they were able to create a knife that feels like it was designed to perfectly fit in your hand.;)

Since Sal had his skeleton replaced with S90V he has obtained many new powers. The least of which is coming to your dreams offering Sage advice. I heard his fingernails are made of G-10 and he cuts the round holes with his laser vision. He also leaves shiny footprints wherever he goes.:p
 
No, he cuts the Spyderholes with his *MIND POWERS*, he also has the ability to spontaneously generate new prototypes out of thin air, he's also one of the few men capable of working hardened steel with his bare hands
