Sal, How about a CF Calypso Jr - VG-10

I think ivory micarta handles with carbon fiber bolsters would look nice on this model. Since it will most likely be manufactered in Japan, VG-10 steel. The current bead blasted clip w/ the black bug would fit the color theme nicely.
 
what's the price range for the gray FRN version currently being considered?

as for the upscale versions, one thing to keep in mind is the cost to the regular ELU, the calypso already was not a hot item when it first came out, for spyderco to go to even more cost to put high-end handle scales on them, there has to be an overwhelming demand for it, and not just from this forum either.

having said that, I'm getting mine when this batch comes out.
 
If my memory serves Sal told us year or two ago that Calypsos are his designs.

I wanted to have large Calypso with Ti handles but as we all know there has never been one :(. It's nice to see that Spyderco has not completely abandoned Calypso.:D


Calypso is by far my favourite knife under 300$.
