Sal, will this ever be a possibility for the Military.

Yes i know, the confusing part was where you said:

"job1 for the military is hard use" - then you went on to say the recon and manix are a different category, when in fact that is their primary category.

The Military has always been in it's own niche. Making a Military like a Manix would dilute what it is. If that's what you want or need just get the Manix.

Relax my friend, i'm aware of the niche the Military fills, like i said it's my favorite Spyderco and i've been using it since it's debut. Never hurts to have some variation in design tho, it's clear that Spyderco is all about innovation and variation, that's why they have so many iterations of the same models along with their CQI. Otherwise they would not have changed the manix design so much and suggested consumers go buy a different model :)

Yep you should relax.

How about you stop posting garbage on legitimate threads and leave the attitude at the door like an adult? How's that sound chief.

Or after 4,677 posts are you just a bitter old bloke who likes to sound clever. Either way, i don't care.

He is entitled to be wrong if he wants to be. A lot of posts does not equal a lot of knowledge. Let's let him alone.

Yeah, good advice. He was too embarrassed to reply here so he quoted my reply from here and merged it in some other thread, not sure if it's some kind of thread where people have it out or what. Either way he needs to try harder. What is this thread anyways?

I like how people can clearly ignore attitude and sly remarks when it suits them, to turn the whole thing around and make the actual person who was clearly trying to be a smart ass look innocent. Get a life mate, apart from a good handful of folks here, the majority of bladeforums is so full of rubbish.

Forgive my ignorance, but how does a back lock add more weight than a liner lock when there is no need for the liner?

Hi Doc,

Walker Linerlocks and Compression locks are unique is that the lock is also the spring. Lock-backs require a separate spring, a spring holder, a lock bar with a pivot, which adds weight.

BTW, As Cashville suggested, the Police 4 is very much like a lock-back Millie.
