You actually had me shedding tears becuase i have to buy files and such and therefore can't afford any of this. oh well.
 
These are some stabilized scales I just finished adding to my webstore for the sale. Pretty flashy stuff. Koa, Redwood and Maple Burl in colors Mother Nature never intended. I hope you guys like them.

just received my purple koa scales, absolutely gorgeous! My sister-in-law is a fiend for purple so I will make something truly unique for her -- thanks Mark!

The scales were dyed dark blue but with the metallic flash in the Koa they are kind of pearlescent showing purple, blue, greens and silver as the light hits from different angles. There were a couple guys from Hawaii who said I would get deported if I did something like dying Koa over there. This was one of those experiments that turned out good.
 
The dyed orange Koa scales I got are different, to be sure. Very nice, unique; I like them.
