For sale is a Scagel Fruitport Wharncliffe with Rams Horn scales that I purchased one month ago. This is a beautiful knife, but I have decided it is a tad too long for me. I keep grabbing my 3 1/2" mini trapper instead. The knife has been lightly used and carried in a pocket slip for the last month, cutting apples and opening the occasional package. As the pictures indicate, the blade is developing a very light, even pantina. I have tried to also show in the pictures that there are a few places where the scales are not completely flush with the bolsters. Honestly, because I am shooting these with a macro lens, the issue looks worse than it is. This is how I received it and it doesn't affect the function of the knife, but if any one wanted this as a safe queen, I just wanted to mention it.
Update: I fear that I scared off prospective buyers with the liners-not-flush photos, so I added a progression of three more photos to show you more accurately what the issue looks like.
