New and unused total safe queen… This is a Rick Barrett Avatar. Rick is known for amazing traditional kabanas and fantasy pieces. This knife is made of high carbon 1075 steel that has been differnetial heat treated. The heat treating leaves a really hard cutting edge and a softer spine for durability. The blade is just amazing and you can clearly see the hamon "aka" temperline on both sides. The handles are made of Black and Blue G10, with an extra set of African Blackwood handles. It also has torx head screws for ease of removing slabs for cleaning. Knife is 11 3/4 inches long and has a cutting edge of 6 inches. This is a truly beautiful knife from an amazing smith so these pieces do not come around often. You will also receive the leather sheath which was made by Rick’s sheath maker. All work on this knife was done by Rick Barrett himself. $700
