REMAINING KNIVES ARE NOW WITHDRAWN. THANKS TO ALL.

Okay, I need to free up some safe space and I might as well free up a little cash. I don’t think this is a particularly good time to be selling, and I don’t think any of these are priced anywhere near appreciation/investment potential. However, these are all duplicates I’ll never use, so if any of you hogs have a need, I’d much prefer you take them off my hands and use them, rather than have them taking up space in my safe.

These are primo blades. I expect them to sell for my listed prices, because if I were trying to buy any of these knives right now I’d be happy to pay the prices offered below. Bottom line: You WILL see some bargains here, and you WON’T see any price reductions in this thread. BTW, I may not sell all you see here. I reserve the right to pull any of these once I’ve moved enough of them along.

POSTAL MONEY ORDERS ONLY--NO PAYPAL. All prices include insured Priority Mail shipping with delivery confirmation to CONUS ONLY. All knives are in new/mint condition, unless otherwise noted in the description.

FIRST PIC:

FFBM: Red/black G-10 mags on black blade. Identical to Noss’s legendary test blade as seen on Knifetests.com, right down to the handle color. This knife has very well-contoured magnum handle slabs and is super comfortable in hand--none of the hard corners experienced on some mag handles. $475 shipped.SOLD TO COEDSE

FFBM: Two-tone sage G10 standard handles on sage blade. This knife has some very light smoothing of the blade coat on the flats near the tip--hardly noticeable. It does not look to have been used and has not been used to my knowledge. Looks like it may have gone in and out of a sheath a few times. Definitely has all of its useful life ahead of it, and a beautiful color combination. $450 shipped.SOLD TO JON-A

CG FBM: Standard black micarta on black blade. The standard all choppers aspire to. $425 shipped. SOLD TO HIGHDESERTWALKER

FBM LE: Number 906. This one was sent back to Wauseon for a re-contour job on the handle and now feels as smooth and sweet as shaking hands with a lady of leisure. This knife is about 3/16” longer than any other FBM LE I’ve handled. Three-sixteenths of an inch is not much, you say? Would you mind having 3/16” ground off the tip of your FBM? Yeah--thought you might. Original BCS price with no shipping cost to you: WITHDRAWN

SECOND PIC:

MOFBM (2 of these): Military Overrun FBM with bowie-style clip point. Only a limited number of these were made available through the Cupidganza. Polished, SHARPENED bowie-style swedge, black blade coat with tiger-hide magnum micarta handles, standard blade thickness (approx .25”). Spine/tang is also polished on both. Two knives offered here, both were sent back to Garth for re-contouring of the handles and are now super-smooth and comfortable in hand--no hard corners. ONE MOFBM SOLD TO DOBYWON. SECOND MOFBM IS WITHDRAWN.

THIRD PIC from the left is a close-up shot of an MOFBM sharpened swedge, just like these.

LAST PIC:

Competition Finish Jack Hammers: Three of these from the Humpoganza. I unwrapped all 3 upon arrival from Wauseon, wiped them down liberally with Breakfree CLP to protect against rust, re-wrapped them and they haven’t been molested since, except to take this picture. It worked--no rust on any of these, a rarity from what I hear. One (bottom knife in pic) came from Busse with a darker cast to the surface than the other two, a cool smoky color, almost as if it had been cold-blued--may help prevent rust, I dunno. WITHDRAWN.

Beautiful knives and great prices. How come no paypal?

Jon-a: Thank you for your interest. Not set up for Paypal--just personal preference.

TRADES: Thanks to all for the trade offers, but I'm looking to cash out of these.

Note of Clarification: Both the FFBM's and the CG FBM have full-thickness points. None have been filed down in the "penetrator" style.

Thanks to all for your interest,
Will

Will the MOFBM perform as well in the role of a "chopper" as the standard FFBM or CG FBM? THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!!!

WS: To answer your question, here's Jerry's verbatim description of the MOFBM when it was listed for sale in the Cupidganzaaa:

"Special Overrun. . . Awesome Chopper!!!

Thanks,
Will
