Simple question probably already asked.

Is there any part what-so-ever on a Salt 1 or Pacific Salt that can rust?

I did a quick search but couldnt find a definitive answer

I think there was originally a washer or something that corroded, but they swapped that out. So, you're safe now!
 
The only things on a NIB Salt that will rust are the tiny particles of metal that were embedded in the H1 logo when it was put on the blade. They don't affect performance, and once they're gone the knife won't rust.
 
I read somewhere here about surface rust near the H1 logo. Never saw any on my 2 you H1. Great knife.
