So who is carrying these??

I absolutely love my yellow Salt I, but would like the black blade as well. Does anyone carry these besides KC??

Just wondering,

Thanks,
H

Are you talking about the H-1 folder, with black blade sold thru the SFO?
The US Navy SEAL model? ~;-)

It's the Pacific Salt with the black blade. Released very recently. The Salt 1, is news to me.

Haven't seen the new Salt 1, in person, either,

My Pacific Salt arrives tomorrow, I'll take pics :D -

I was just at SFO earlier today, but didn't see any black bladed Salts. Maybe it was because I was too busy fondling the Aqua Salt and just didn't notice heh.

The model available in a black blade version is the Pacific Salt ( Endura size).

There is no Salt I (Delica size) with a black blade. Maybe in the future?

I didn't lick the blade yet, but the coating looks tasty :D

pretty sure the corbonitride is the lesser of the two when it comes to wear resistance. I havent even used my carbonitride endura, and out of the box it had some scuffs on it. I wouldnt call them scratches, but it has the lines on the finish like someone marked on it with an ink pen.

I have one that was thrown in on a trade.

It's a large folder, here it is next to a Military.

I'm considering putting it on the exchange though, I have too many knives. :)

You are correct, Jake. DLC (Diamond Like Coating) is the hardest coating you can get on a knife.
