Where do you guys keep your high temp salt pots? The space required for this rather dangerous little device will determine the nature of the commercial space that i rent for my new shop as I plan to buy a setup as soon as possible. As i live in Florida, which has a very wet sub-tropical climate, having it outside in any way form or fashion is NOT an option.

Joe, my salt baths are hidden in a space behind my door in my forging area, it is a little too cramped for my liking but it does show how small a space can be used to set them up if you need to. If I won the lottery and was building a new shop I think I would like to devote at least an 8 foot by 8 foot area to the salt baths.

Thanks Kevin.......let me guess......8 x 8 for your satt baths and a hermetically sealed room the size of a squash court for your new scanning EM and accesories, right?:D What is driving me is finding a shop space that has a bak door so that i don't have to have all of the dangerous equipment parked around the 9 foot wide front roll up door of a 24 x 20 space..

Would you describe what the 8'x8' area would be set up like and why, please? Order of priority would help me a lot.

Mike
