Salt water knife reccomendation

Sal has mentioned on the Spyderco forums that under testing Salt serrated (H1 or H2) has better edge retention than most super steels in plain edge!
That has not been true in my use. My serrated H1 dull the same as plain edge. The serrated edge is much thinner BTE, so it cuts better for longer.

H1 is hard to find these days.
But I found it. And I decided to go with plain edge H1 salt.

MagnaCut is way too expensive, and I just need to cut a shellfish or two, and similar things, I don't need crazy edge retention for my needs, and H1 has plenty of toughness, and I can get it sharp anywhere.

Plus, H1 is discontinued, so I wanna get it while I still can.

With this. I thought LCN was the upgrade.

Is it all round better than H1 H2 or just different?
