Salt Water Swisstool???

My Swisstool Spirit took a lot o salt water during a 4 day fishing trip, I flush it with water every day, and yesterday I clean it with WD-40.
Should I do another kind of treatment or cleaning to prevent rust?

People seem to swear by Tuf Glide and Tuf cloth for this application. I have not yet developed rust on knives treated with these but absence of hardly proves much since conditions may not induce rust in the first place. Victorinox uses steel that seems exceptionally rust resistant.

More than rust resistant, I bet you you couldnt rust one if you kept it in a tank of salt water for 50 years. Click the link.

I got the lock release and metal saw to rust a little bit. I left it in a pot of water for a couple of days by mistake though. It came off after a very light brush with a wire brush something softer then the steel)
