We have a good select of Sam Cox Customs. Sam is from SC and does an excellent job on his knives, from the grind, heat treat and hand rub. Many handle materials come from his property in SC. The woods are sent to AZ for stabilization. Most have distal tapers. Many styles are modified from old sailor knife patterns. Take a look. You won't be dissapointed.
