"I don't think Sam knows how to make a delicate, genteel knife - they are all fierce, imposing and aggressive. Even the small guardless utility knife I have from Sam looks like it's trying to pick a fight"....

of all you can tell me about me or knives...
Nothing could make me happier than here !!!!
thanks my friend !! thanks

thanks you to Mrs Jim Cooper these beautiful pictures
and Mrs Long and Paul who quite like always an amazing job
the best embellishments knives I know are these two men !!!

Very, very cool piece. Like the best, he has his own style - and it's a top-of-the-heap style.

Crazy awesome as always!!! So aggressive and elegant at the same time.

...And of course a big thanks to Sam, who I am sure will kick down the MS door next year!

I remember looking through the threads that listed the bladesmiths who had passed their JS and MS tests this year, and was very surprised/confused that Sam's name wasn't among the new Master Smiths  . It made me wonder if he didn't do the test this year, although I thought for sure he would, especially after that horrible situation last year where he was quite literally robbed of his "stamp" :thumbdn: . Anyway, I hope this isn't inappropriate to ask, but as I've been off of FB for a while and haven't been keeping up to date with these things, and haven't seen anything on here regarding it, I was wondering if Sam didn't pass the 5 piece inspection test  , or was he not able to enter this year again for some reason? Again, I hope this isn't a sore subject I'm bringing up, if so, I do apologize :o :foot: .

Thanks for sharing, Roger! :)

coldsteelburns: Unfortunate indeed. Here's the discussion. Click.

No worries. Those who know quality and know Sam recognize his personal title as OS (OutStanding) anyway. :)

Thanks for the link, Coop. Yea, that's really hard to believe.

Although, now I really can't wait to see what he brings with him next year, as this experience will no doubt cause him push and critique his work even further than it is. Not to mention adding yet, another year to build upon his already incredible skill, knowledge and artistry.

And I completely agree, his work is extremely "OS"! ;)
