• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Sam Lurquin Joe Paranee Hurak Project

That abalone is bigger than I thought.

This one is ten inches in its largest dimension. Somewhat of a prize catch, as Matt stated - my first. Legal size to harvest is seven inches. Since commercial abalone harvesting is no longer allowed, I belive most restaurants are limited to purchasing from abalone farms. Farm raised abalone can be much smaller when sold. Abalone can only be taken by recreational/sport free divers - no tanks and for personal use only.

Just got mine, what a great design and sheath
Dave

Congratulations Dave! Great photos of a beautiful knife. Mike

That really is a hell of a serious-looking knife.

Inch for inch, a brute. Size does not always matter. Sam packed this knife design with serious function and feel in mind.

Huraks totally rock. Tremendous, high quality project from day one. Congrats to all!
