Doing some fund raising for incoming stuff, so this one looking for a new home. Received this from Sam earlier this year. Sam is one of the hottest mastersmiths working and has his own unique style. This one does not have a name yet, it is the only one like it he has made. Big knife with an OAL of about 12.5", with a blade length of about 6.5". Handle is very comfortable, and the knife has great balance. Knife is in new/as received condition from Sam, and I have not had a sheath made for it. Specs are as follows per Sam: "the blade is damascus with a claw pattern along the edge, I forged the sanmai and put 80crv2 in the middle. Black guard is made of steel with an antique/distressed finish. Handle is stabilized maple that I put aside for a long time because I liked it alot."
