Same weekend as Sicac.
I remember from last year that the two shows were right on top of each other, but I didn't remember if they were the same weekend. Is the new show kind of an "up yours" directed at the guy who runs SICAC?

That's the kind of knife people would duel one another with old-timey pistols for a chance to purchase. I'd love to own a Sam Lurquin blade myself, but even if I found a black market buyer for one of my 'Like New, Still in the Box' kidneys, the wait list probably requires cryogenic stasis by now. It's easy to see why... absolutely phenomenal craftsmanship and design sense.:thumbsup:

So you can't really exhibit at both shows. Sounds like "up yours" to me. ;) I remember hearing a fair bit of grumbling about the SICAC promoter over the years, much of it having to do him being a cheap bastard. Some people were not happy abut the show moving to Charetan, but some of the same people were unhappy when it moved from its original location, even when it was at the Mutualite, which I thought was nice and in a great neighborhood. I was told that the show was bigger in the old days. By that time, Gembloux had caught up and surpassed it as far as number of attendees.

Look at the list of exhibitors and you will see that a lot of exhibitors are doing both shows. with a doublet on Saturday
do not cofond quality and quantity . Even if Gembloux is a superb show you were regularly exhibiting on Gembloux, I do not see you there;)
