There is a little extra cost in this one because of the handle material.

The guard is wrought iron that I forged from an old wagon wheel and has some very interesting texture. Hard to see in my poor photography, but it is there: honest.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind
Sambar stag crown handle
Hand sanded to 600 grit
Iron guard
Water buffalo spacer
Overall length: 14 inches
Blade: 8 1/4 inches
Hand sewn leather sheath

$300 =====SOLD=====delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take your check with time to clear or USPS money order.

Love the shape of the wrought iron guard on that bowie. Nice long sweeping clip and overall just a beautiful piece.

Holy toledo ya knocked it outta the ball park there Gerry !!!!

That's awesome, your work just gets better and better !

Its a beauty....does the handle fit a right better than the left because of the curvature of the handle??

It weighs 14.6 oz and is definitely a right hand knife with the funky curve of the crown. Sorry to all the lefties out there.

Had the privilege of handling this one on Tuesday and it has a great feel. Unfortunately for this lefty, it's strictly right-handed! Out of the park on this one Gerry!

Jesus Christ guys if I was right handed I'd be over this like white on rice in a snow storm in a cotton field in a fog.....

If I drop this one to $300 will it push someone over the edge?

REDUCED TO $300

I keep going back to this knife Gerry. The guard and stag compliment each other so well in this Bowie. You really made good choices in material and your workmanship brought them together in a classic design.
