I know I am a latecomer to this party, but WOW! That is some fine stag! You really scored there!

Nice sambar scales there. I've found a different way to treat antler to get the amber hue. Smoking the antlers for about a week to a month and then polishing it seems to impart a natural amber shade. I don't know if that will harm the ivory but it's a native technique. Has anyone done that to their own scales? Meanwhile check out my trophy sambar.
