I found another piece of Stag in that drawer!
Mated it up with a 5160 blade forged from some heavy stock and a stainless guard.
Fixed assembly? OK.
I actually forged this blade and ricasso to fit the handle end of the Stag. I wanted to remove as little material as possible for a nice fit.
5 3/8" clipped blade with a false edge and 10 1/4" overall length.
Nuttin' but fun here!

Karl, I bet that drawer is so full of stag that it wouldn't close. Great looking knife! What have you got going at the butt? I can't tell if it has a cap or is it just a bare bottom? I'd really like to see.............

You ought to be ashamed showing off like that!!! Didn't your mother teach you better? Just kiddin' It is a beautiful knife. Wish I had made it. Thanks for showing to us.

Very nice one Karl. I too would like to see the butt :) Knowing you, I am sure it is something very clever.

Thanks for showing this knife ... at least most of it.

You guys are too gullible. The blade isn't really finished. That is why he isn't showing us the butt!

Karl, every time I see you've posted another knife I start smiling even before I click through to your thread... Oh Boy! You never disappoint me. Another beauty. Like Ray and everyone else, I'm looking forward to seeing the butt of this knife. :D
