Would changing it to a flat sabre like the frn endura's cost much more and put the ss delica's and enduras in another price range or will they be priced the same?
My question in a simple for,:
Will a different grind cost much more to make such as the flat sabre grind in the enduras?
Hi JJ. The cost would be about the same. The selection of a hollow grind for the ss Delica was more based on the ELUs (End Line Users). The hollow grind seems to be preferred for that model. Probably the curves and grindlines have more eye appeal. The more educated knife user will often gravitate to the flat grinds and then to full flat grinds (edge to spine) if usage is the purpose. The exception might be for skinning or other similar type cutting where the blade does not pass through the material being separated.
