Quantity never overrides quality,
although it is born of it:
The thousands of hours spent forging,
heat treating, polishing and sewing sheaths
- all by hand -
has brought me recognition as
one of the topbladesmiths in Scandinavia.
Especially among those who collect Finnish puukkos
- the knives made famous by the heroic Finnish rangers
who used them as allpurpose tools and back-up weapons
against the overwhelming Russian enemy during
the winter and continuation wars in 1939-1945.
The one thing in common to every blade I forge
- no matter if it is a small everyday user
or a big damascus-bladed Viking-sword
is the close attention to the quality of the used materials
and the heat-treating process.
My forge is situated about a 2-hour-drive from the arctic circle.
You can be sure, that when your special needs
meet quality high carbon steel in my workshop you will,
as an end result, have something that is not only beautiful to look at,
but also excels in performing the tasks it was designed for.
A real hand made Finnish work of art in a very sharp package!
