Sample Size for steel analysis

Does anyone know what is a good sample size when getting steel analyzed? I don't know anything about the equipment used. Thanks,

Whit,
I would ask the person analyzing it. I generally ask for the piece to be 1-1/2" square by at least 1/8" thick.
