Samsher Love

To this date, the most beautiful Samsher I've ever seen came one day in June when I was sharking but had to step away from the desk for a few minutes. I still hurt from missing it...http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=407958&highlight=Samsher

If Yangdu could convince the Sarge or her other better kamis to produce more chiruwa Samshers with wood that gorgeous, my pocketbook would combust from the friction of being opened so fast and frequently.

Here was the first one he did back in January, that I was lucky enough to snag. Yangdu just called it a "chiruwa chandan wood handled khukuri by Sgt. Khadka" but a Samsher it was. There were three more in June, on 6/5, 6/6, and the one you saw on 6/13, which had really nice wood as you pointed out.

I have two by him, the other being 20" and 40 oz., and they are great knives.

Wow. I missed out on all of those. I like the Sgt's work the best too.

I had one but it found a home with a friend of mine. If only I could score one with a longer handle, preferably in walnut or saatisal. Beautiful khuks, thanks for sharing.

I got the one from the 6th, and would have had the one from the 13th, but I decided to let it go to someone else so they could share the Samsher love.

Wasn't that nice? :)

Eric.
