This is the Samson rail for the AK, model number RSR1. It replaces the rear sight on the AK and provides a rock solid, no wiggle optics mount. More solid than a lot of the other sight mounts I've seen. It also has a sight notch cut into it to provide a backup iron sight that can be viewed under whatever you mount on it. This came on a rifle I purchased and I just don't use optics enough to make it worthwhile. It's in good shape with minor wear.
