From time to time I end up with used IT gear, these were pulled from working laptops to upgrade to larger 256GB SSDs (wiped and formatted, ready to use). If you're still running your laptop or desktop OS on a spindle Hard Drive, this is a great way to speed up your system. These should work well in any system that uses SATA connections. The SSDs are the 2.5" size form factor so they will fit in most laptops and any desktop. I swapped My OS and a few programs to one of these, and use the old HDD as storage space.
