Large folding Bowie knife by master Bowie maker Alex Daniels. Daniels is a well-known maker of historical Bowie knife reproductions. This "one off" piece is patterned after the classic "Samuel Bell Bowie" complete with the "Bell" blade with false edge and extended blood croove on one side along with a coffin handle with s/s shields on both sides. The knife construction is a lockback. Creamy mammoth ivory scales, s/s bolsters and back spacer. Satin finished, 3 1/2" BG-42 blade, 8" OAL. This is a gorgeous, potential "center-piece" addition to any Bowie collection. SOLD and on the way to sunny CA!!!

Hello Mike,

What is the thickness of the blade and the thickness of the overall knife?

Could I see a pic of the closed knife from the top showing the centering of the blade?

Thanks,

Hank

Here are a couple more views. The blade thickness is right at 1/8" and the overall thickness is a bit more than 7/16"
