Here is some of my san mai. The core steel is Aldo's 1084 and the outside layers are a high nickel low carbon steel.

The handle is some nice dense camel bone. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy. It is sculpted to fit the hand well, then polished to a glassy finish.

The sheath is 6oz leather from Wickett and Craig. It is hand tooled. It is thinner leather than I usually use. I thought I would try some thinner stuff on my smaller knives.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 3/8" Tip to handle
OAL - 8"

Price - $220 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Love that short, wide blade, Matt.
