Here is a san mai knife I made a while ago. The blade is Aldo's 1084 sandwiched between some low carbon high nickel steel. The flats have been left with the forge scale, and the spine has been given a simple rope pattern filework.

The handle is a decent size piece of black canvas micarta. The bolster is made from brass, and the fitup is seamless. It has some very nice contours and fits my hand very well.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and tooled leather. The knife is held securely and still draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 6 1/2" tip to guard
OAL - 11 1/2"

Price - $285 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

I'm really lovin' san mai right now, I'm not sure what it does function wise but looks wise it is totally wild. great looking knife man, you shouldn't post two knives at the same time, you're gonna give the guys with money fits trying to decide which one. :D
