I had a mini knife show today at an Wilderness and Outdoor event at a church. The old mantra "it is tough to sell knives at a gun show" held true. It was fun, but I came back with as many knives as I left with.
This is some of my San Mai. I has 1084 for the core steel and low carbon, high nickel steel for the sandwich layers. It is razor sharp.
The handle is some really nice desert ironwood. The bolster/ferrule is stainless steel. The handle is nicely shaped and sculpted to fit the hand really well.
The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife slides in nicely and holds securely.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to ferrule
OAL - 9 1/8"
Price - $295 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here, "I'll take it!" gets it.
