This is some of my san mai steel. It is 1084 at it's core, and has a low carbon high nickel steel as the sandwich layers. The blade is sharpened to a razor's edge.

The handle is jigged bone. I jigged it and treated it myself. It is held together with pins and G-flex epoxy. The pins are slightly peened to help provide a mechanical bond. It fits well in the hand and the jigging adds grip.

The sheath is hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits nicely and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 4" tip to handle
OAL - 8 1/4"

Price - $245 shipped to US. I prefer paypal to matt@baileyknives.com, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

I have not etched the spine yet. I will so it shows the different layers before it ships.

I'm gonna have to take this one off your hands...I can't resist...I'll take it.

This one is extremely beautiful! Looks like I got home from work a bit too late, nice score 31!

That is a winning combo of materials Matt. Could we persuade you to make more ? (and count me in for 1)
