This knife is one of the more unique combinations I have ever made. The blade is comprised of an O1 tool steel core, clad on either side with 203E nickel steel. Not your typical san mai blade! Edge quenched, ~60Rc. The 203E has some interesting, almost Wootz, patterns in it.

The bolsters are exquisite copper/nickel ladder pattern mokume from Phillip Jones, and the scales are spalted maple from Tim Kipps. Black liners and nickel silver pins throughout.

6” blade, 11 ½” OAL, 9.4 oz. $650 OBO

This is somehow very unique & elegant at the same time. Very sleek how the bolsters are kept to a minimum & terminate mid-choil - amazing knife!!

Yes I agree it is wonderful and finally a knife with a bolster!! A beautiful one at that. Had I not already bought one this month...... Great work I keep looking at this over and over again! Super job!
