Here is some of my san mai. The outside layers are a low carbon high nickel steel. The core is 1084 from Aldo. The tang has been forged and extends nearly to the butt of the handle.

The handle is some really nice stabilized redwood burl. It has really nice figure to it and it seems to move when it catches different light. It has been sculpted to fit the hand really well. The guard is stainless with a brass spacer.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife slides in well and is held securely.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to guard
OAL - 9"

Price - $240 shipped to US. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it

Wow, that's an amazing package at a ridiculous low price for the quality of workmanship and materials. Someone is gonna get a heckuva deal! Love seeing your work

Stole the words right out of my mouth. You should bump the price up another $100 before someone steals it. Beautiful

I missed another one of your knives! I'm still drooling over one of the first stag handled ones you posted way back.
