Here is a smaller hunter that I made recently.
The blade is San Mai, with 1084 as the core steel, and a high nickel and low carbon sandwich layers. I went with this particular combination because it has really good steel as the cutting layer and maintains the look of a hamon well with the contrast between the layers.
The handle is stabilized sycamore. There are areas that look like snake or fish scales. I got the sycamore from a fellow forum member, and sent it to K&G to have it stabilized. The handle fits well in the hand and requires little to no maintenance since it is stabilized. The guard is black linen micarta.
The sheath is 8-9 oz hand tooled and stitched leather from Wickett and Craig. It was designed specifically for this knife and holds it well. It is designed for right handed carry.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to guard
OAL - 9"
Price - $225 shipped to US. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order. It usually takes about an extra $15 - $25 for international orders, depending on the country.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
