Here is some of my san mai. It has a 1084 core and high nickel low carbon outer layer. It is polished to 800 grit and etched.
The handle is stabilized sycamore. It is mortised tang. It fits the hand well.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather. The knife fits in well and draws easily.

Blade - 3 7/8" tip to bolster
OAL - 8 7/8"
