I now have a second billet ready! Same size except .152 thick. No pits. I'll mark the first one down to $60.00 including shipping.
I have a San-Mai billet for sale.
it is 15-N-20 & 1080
approximate dimensions are
1-1/2" X 8" X .150
It was forged using a rolling mill so it is very consistent.
It has been normalized twice and annealed once. Rockwell tested RC 27
It has been surface ground and ready to work.
There is one small pit shown in second photo that is about a quarter of an inch in from edge and vey shallow. This should not be a problem, but I wanted to point it out.

If you look back on "BF Folders for sale" Alan Davis posted one made from a billet I made just like this one. (Sheep Horn & San-Mai) 2 or three weeks ago.
