Can I see the size of the knife in your hand so I can see how big it is? I've been looking for a knife that I can stow away for a hike's emergency pack.

They were very easy to deal with, and stayed in touch throughout the transaction.

The knife arrived in a nicely done box. One look at the quality of construction of the box told me the contents would be nice.

inside was the knife in a superbly fitted kydex sheath. The ironwood grips were perfectly fitted, with no gaps along the black fiber liners.

The grip looked a little short, but the knife fits my hand very well, and the grip feels certain and secure.

The blade is beautiful. I like the blackwork left from the forging process; it really sets off the polished portion of the blade. And the blade -is- superbly sharpened.

It doesn't show up in the photo, but there is a just-visible line where the two steels meet; it looks like a hamon. I'm told that the carbon steel will darken as i use the knife, accentuating this; I think it will age very well.

These guys are new to BF; but I think they'll be well known pretty soon. They are making beautiful and functional knives, with good materials and attention to detail.
