This is some of my san mai. It consists of high nickel outer layers and a 1095 core. It is etched for contrast. The forge scale is left on the flats. The spine is fileworked.
The handle is some nice cocobolo. It is held in place with normal pins and one mosaic, along with acraglas.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and tooled leather. It holds the knife securely and allows it to draw easily.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 3/4" tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/2"
Price - $320 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
