I forged this steel a while back and just got around to finishing this knife.
I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.
The meat in the sandwich is right in the middle where it should be.
The handle also features a new texture. It is a combination of two of my patterns.
Also, I've started including a little memento with these.
I always have a bit of extra textured material after, so I decided to put it to use.
Now, each knife will come with a piece of the handle to keep on your keys.
san mai of 1084 with 15n20 core
textured and oxidized copper
stainless pin
bronze washers
leather pocket sheath
7 1/16" open
4 5/8" closed (including flipper)
3/32" at the spine
2 7/8" edge
1" wide at the widest on the handle
keyring piece is 3/4" in diameter
$300 + $10 shipping
