I have been focusing on hidden tangs lately, and these are my latest.

The first one is San Mai. The outer layer is a low carbon high nickel steel and the core is 1084. The spine is fileworked and I have left the forge scale on the flats.

The bolster is black linen micarta and the natural micarta. The handle has facets. It is the perfect size for my hand.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The sheath has a retaining strap, with a flick of the thumb, the knife can be easily drawn.

Dimensions
Blade - 5" tip to guard
OAL - 9 3/4"

Price - $345 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order

Here is another W2 hidden tang. It is forged from some of Hanson's W2 and is left with forge scale on the flats. The blade is clay coated and quenched for a nice hamon. The spine of the blade has some simple rope filework.

The guard is linen micarta and the handle is bocote. The handle has facets and fits in the hand nicely. The blade is held in with a pin and with strong epoxy.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife snugly, but allows it to draw easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 5" tip to guard
OAL - 9 1/2"

Price - $SOLD shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Matt, every time you post a new sheath I say to myself "it just can't get any better than that". And then you make another sheath and prove me wrong! Outstanding leather work (nice knives too)!

It is yours TDPurcell.

Thanks, and Thanks for using me for your first post!

Both of those knives are beautiful keep up the great work Matt -Trevor
