This is my San Mai steel. The outer layers are low carbon and high nickel, and the middle layer is Aldo's 1084. The forge scale is left on and the spine is fileworked.

The handle is black canvas micarta. It is held in place with pins and acraglas. It is also contoured to fit well in the hand.

The Sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and tooled leather. The knife fits well and draws easily.

Dimensions -
Blade - 4 5/8" tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/4"

Price - $275 shipped to US. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Matt, Absolutely beautiful but you made the sheath for the wrong side. Too bad makers always make the sheaths for right handers. We need more lefty's around here. It hurts to spend several hundred dollars for a knife and then have to spend another hundred for a sheath.

I back that! and have sent a PM ;0)

Bones555, who said you had to pay extra for a lefty? If you let me keep the original sheath for a different knife, i will make you a lefty sheath for no extra cost...as long as you dont want a super fancy one.
Wrenches...I used a polished ball peen hammer

Well, now I know. I wasn't directly speaking about you, just makers in general. I'll be watching and waiting to see what you make next. Hopefully it will be large with your great vivid hamon. Thanks Matt.
