Trying some more traditional approaches lately.

This is a pretty cool one, finally figured out the lines I've been wanting to get for what feels like forever now.

Inspired by @freehillblades (on Instagram)
And @zdforge (also on Instagram)
Both of these guys make stellar knives please check out their work if you haven't already!

Tapers are important, so are swells! And boy this knife is swell 😉

My one and only gripe about making this knife was deciding to use stainless corby bolts. They are much much much harder than the micarta I used here, and absolutely fought me in the finish the entire way!

Came out amazing and boy do I enjoy some San Mai, the beautiful lines, swirls, and curves...but that top swedge portion came out sweetest!

Pics of the sheath please, with and without knife.

Great work!

Thank you so much! I'm out of sheaths right now. I was digging through my drawer and must have used my last one sometime earlier this year! I buy mine pre-made from Pops knife supply, they are simple but good quality. I'll be ordering a couple this evening 😅 I'll go ahead and shoot a couple pics up in the upcoming week when I get it all fitted to the knife!

I own a few knives from Curt and can see the influence very well. Aside from that, I also own several san-mai blades and your finish is very nicely done, the contrast is excellent!

Thank you very much! His style is super clean, which is what I try to achieve in my work!
