This is some of my san mai. It has Aldo's 1084 as the core steel and high nickel, low carbon cladding layers. The blade is razor sharp and ready to go.
The handle is black canvas micarta, held in place with the pins and G-flex epoxy. It is sculpted and shaped to fit the hand well.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig.
