Here is a san mai hunter. I really like the shape of this knife. The core steel is 1095 and the sandwich layers are a high nickel mild steel. The spine is fileworked.

The handle is dark brown canvas micarta. It almost looks maroon, but I bought it as "dark brown" Either way it is nice stuff and is nearly indestructible. It is held in place with 3 pins, one mosaic and acraglas.

The sheath is 8-10oz hand tooled and hand stitched leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits well and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 3/4"
OAL - 9 1/4"

Price - $265 shipped. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

That's an awesome looking knife and it looks like it fits the hand perfectly! Just be sure not to get any blood on it from that cut...LOL

Mark, it is yours. I sent you an email.
mudbug, I was polishing a different knife and drove the tip about 3/4" into my finger. For some reason I forgot the forum rule and neglected to take a picture of it before I doused it with Superglue
