Here is some San mai steel I made. The cladding is 8670 and the core is 1095, separated by pure nickel.

The handle is desert ironwood with a heat colored stainless guard.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 3/4” tip to guard
OAL - 8 1/2”

To anyone who might be on the fence, over the last few years, Matt's ergonomics have gone from really, really good to damned excellent. I have one of his more recent knives as part of my EDC, and when other people ask to see it, there's almost always some comment like "That just feels perfect!"
