San Mai Hunter

Greetings All,

For your consideration is this Takefu Suminigashi 22 layer hunter with stabilized Cottonwood. The cottonwood was stained/stabilized by K&G - highly figured. The blade is hollow ground, hand rubbed to 800 grit then etched to reveal the layers. The solder joint is perfectly executed with no pinholes. The hidden tang extends 3/4 of the way into the handle and is set with marine grade epoxy. The sheath holds the knife securely yet draws easily. I hope you like it!
