This is some of my high contrast san mai. The blade is designed to look as though it has a hamon, but much more bold. The spine is fileworked and the flats are left with the forge scale, because I like how it looks.

The bolster is african blackwood and the handle is natural linen micarta. It is held in place with pins including one mosaic, and acraglas.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand stitched and tooled leather. The knife fits nicely and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 6" tip to handle
OAL - 10 3/4"

Price - $335 shipped to US. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Lovely piece, I really like how the leather compliments the grip materials. Again you are trying to get me to sign my paycheck over. Have mercy!

Thanks Guys, Looks like this one is headed for the "save for Ohio knife show" box. Knives like this tend to sell better when someone can look at them and handle them. It looks better in person than the pics show.

I think the forum downtime and reorganization had a lot to do with the slower sales.

When and where is the Ohio knife show?

The Ohio show is in October in Cambridge Ohio. I, for the last 2 years, have been trying to put 1 knife a month in a box, starting in March, so I have a decent showing starting in October. I then take most of September and the first part of October to put the finishing touches on the knives and then head off to the show, with a good knifemaker friend of mine. This knife may have found a home. Still waiting on a response.
